Complete the game in god mode to get a telephone number it is 1-800-613-8840 and when you are at the throne at the end of the game destroy the two statues next to and it will be a buch of numbers solve and you will get another number that number is 1-888-447-5594

Kill Enemies Faster

To kill an enemy without all the swinging just launch the enemy up in the air (will work for most enemies) by holding triangle. When you jump up in the air with them (keep holding triangle to jump up! ) press circle and you’ll grab the enemy and throw him down. The enemy should bounce back up to you. When this happens keeping hitting circle till either the enemy dies or when the circle button appears above its head. This really helps when you’re low on health.

Air Combat (Launch Your Enemies)

This is the cool way to find unique ways to punish your enemies, and you have it from the start. Simply hold Triangle to perform Ascension. You�ll fly up in the air with one big swing, as will your enemies. Up there all kinds of combo hits and throws await your foes; especially once you level up and can perform Cyclone of Chaos (L1 + Square) and Falling Helios (L1 + Triangle).

Get Army Of Hades

To get Army of Hades, you must first beat the giant minotaur boss, run up the stairs thats behind the giant doors, grab the head from the casket, run back down the stairs, and walk into the god power door.

Minotaurs

Binotaurs are easy to beat if you know how. Just use the square, square, triangle combo and keep hitting them and knocking them down.

Powerful Combos

After you get the Sword of Arcamedies you can unleash some powerful combos. Since the Sword of Arcamedies is strong but slow so you can’t get very long combos. If you switch over to the Swords of Choas in the middle of a combo and switch back you can unleash a powerful combo.

Hero Build

This is a professional build that will help you immensly through out the game. Start a new character and keep leveling up your blades until they are around 4-5. Then level Poseidon’s Rage to the max. Save up orbs and level Zeus’ Rage to the max as well. You’ll also need to save up for Blades of Artemis, so keep lots of orbs in stock. If you stick by this build you should be fine for the entire game.

God Mode

Beat the game on any difficulty.

Go Crazy!

Never worry about running out of magic, because there is always a magic filled chest around the corner. Your magic meter should not worry you because you will always have chances to fill it up. So with that information, GO CRAZY WITH YOUR MAGICICAL POWERS.

Magic Feathers

After you get Posiedens Trident and you can swim underwater, try to look for the nyads in the water. If you encounter one grab them with O and you will then kiss them. They will then give a magic feather.

Most Monsters Have Weaknesses

A good way to get a cyclops to go down in a couple of hits is to throw a Zeus’ Fury Lightning Bolt at their big eyeball. Those Harpies can fly but they have a bad weakness, freeze them with Medusa’s Gaze and they will fall right to the ground and shatter. You get extra red orbs for doing these weakness moves. There are many more monsters in the game that have weaknesses to. Try to discover them.

Get Alot Of Red Orbs

After you kill the King Hydra and you are in your boat on the way to Athens, you know the two women that are lying in your bed. Get on the bed and press O. You will then have to push a series of buttons and if you passed it, you will get a ton of red orbs.

Listen To David Jaffey (creator) And Craetos

Go to Mt. Olympus. Go into the temple and break the two large statues(Aries and the Pandora dude). It will give you a bunch of numbers. Unscrambled, they are a toll free phone number. The number is 1-888-447-5594. The creator of the game and Craetos will talk to you on the phone.

High Definition Mode

This code is entered any time before the «Sony Computer Entertainment Presents» screen. The letters on that screen will turn purple if done correctly.

Unlock Treasures, Costumes, Difficulties, Enable Flicker

Entered at the main menu on Pad #2, code 1 will unlock all difficulty levels, costumes and treasures.

Entered in-game at select menu, code 1 will unlock all spells and items at max level.

As the player’s hit combo climbs, the prompts «Your destiny awaits», «The secret is near», and «Almost there» appear just above your Rage of the Titans meter. Note that this website no longer exists, so there is no reason to visit the URL.

To Start a new game with all Weapons/Magic at the levels you completed the game at, simply save your game and start a new game. Choose the Bonus Play option and you can start a new game with all your weapons/Magic at the levels you beat the game with. You can only choose the Bonus Play option on the difficulty you’ve beaten the game on. They will be marked by a sword on the New Game screen.

Using Controller 2, enter the code at the main menu. The same code in the Power Up menu gives the other effect.

Glitches

Infinite orbs

During the Challenge of Atlas after you cross the bridge and pass the saw room, there will be an enemy at the bottom of the tower. Don’t kill him, just go to the ladder near the wall. Position yourself so that you are between the enemy and the ladder. Use the square, square, triangle combo to take him out. Make sure you kill the enemy above the ladder. Once you kill it, it should hit the ground, then bounce back up getting caught in this bounce. If done correctly, it will continually release red orbs. Once you get the glitch going, just stand there for about 10 minutes. You will get the max amount of orbs, 199 full red bars which is 59,700 orbs.

Skip conveyer belt area

When you first walk in to the conveyer belt area right before pandoras box you barely go past the entrance as to not activate the battle with harpies and arrowers. Immediately walk as far as your can to the left or right with running into a conveyer belt. Then walk forward next to the conveyer belt until you reach the first pedestal. Jump on it and you should be home free. Now you can liesurely walk to pandoras box without a battle.

The whole idea is that there is an area near the entrance that if you walk in it you will initiate the battle. By walking as close as you can to the edge you are not «tripping the trigger» per say.

Secret Message 2

Destroy the Ares and Minotaur statues in the throne room at Olympus (use Lance of the Furies: L1+Circle). The secret message is a scrambled telephone number, just read it from left to right to figure it out. it should be pretty obvious. Call the number to get a pre-recorded message describing how cool you are (or aren’t).

Secret Number after you beat God Mode

There is a secret number you receive after you defeat God Mode. The secret number is a non scrambled telephone number. Call the number to hear an interesting side story to what really happened to the final boss.

Sex Mini-game

In the Beginning of Act 2, there are 2 women in your bed when you are inside your ship. If you jump on the bed, A circle will appear above the bed, indicating a Mini-game. Press Circle, and the game will start. All you see is the vase, but as you get further, the vase will shake more and more, until it falls and breaks. you have to press the buttons as it commands it. closer to the end, you have to rotate the Left Analog Stick. If you win, the first time, you get a large amount of Red orbs. Everytime afterwards, you get 5 more.

Surrender Kratos Message

Outside the Temple of the Oracle, in the area with the Gravedigger. Look on the left ledge near a red orb chest, there should be a small firefly buzzing around, Press R2 near it. Now quickly run to where the Gravedigger is and stand on top of the highest mound of dirt, Press R2 again. Finally, run south across the bridge and stand between the two torches and press R2 one more time. If done correctly the words «Surrender Kratos» will be written in the night sky in cursive.

Secret 2 EU Version

In the European version of God of War you do not receive a telephone number scrambled up like in he American version. Instead you receive a secret cutscene which is ensued after destroying the Ares & Minotaur statues.

Challenge Of The Titans mode

Successfully complete the game to unlock the Challenge Of The Titans mode.

Arena Of The Fates mode

Get a «Titan» rank in Challenge mode to unlock the Arena Of The Fates mode.

Successfully complete the game to unlock the Titan difficulty setting.

Cod Of War: Successfully complete the game. Hydra Armor: Successfully complete the game. Dark Odyssey: Successfully complete the game on the God difficulty setting. Athena: Successfully complete the game on the Titan difficulty setting. Hercules: Successfully complete the game on the Titan difficulty setting. General Kratos: Collect 20 Cyclops Eyes. God Armor: Get a «God» rank in Challenge Of The Titans mode.

Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting and save when prompted. Start a new game on the same or lower difficulty setting to have all weapons including the Blade Of Olympus and magic at the level attained during your previous session. Additionally, the «High Resolution» and «Story Format» movie options and «Credits» option will be unlocked at the «Treasures» menu.

Urn Of Gaia: This Urn is found in Rhodes (the first level). Take the stone block that you push with the golden bird on top, which you need to first break to get some Red Orbs, and push it between Kratos and the gate. While Kratos is on the button to open the gate, kick the block to the other side and then quickly roll under the gate. Then, push the block to the right and you will see three chests on a ledge in the background. Push the block to that area and double jump, then lift yourself up. This Urn allows you to gain ten times the number of Orbs than normal.

Urn Of the Gorgons: After you get the Golden Fleece, backtrack to the conveyor belt with the Gorgon eye things that turn you to stone, then reflect the beam back at them. There will be three chests, one of which holds the Urn. This Urn enables your weapons to turn enemies to stone.

Urn Of Olympus: Near the area where you get the Spear of Destiny, take the time slowing statue and push it near the waters edge from where you first came. Try to make it so you can start the time slowing from the other side of the pool. Then, press R1 across the other pool and roll into the room where the Urn is located. This Urn gives you unlimited magic.

Urn Of Prometheus: This Urn is found in Atlas. When hanging from his underarm, you have to break two stalactites to continue, but there is also another one you can break. Break it and then follow the hole up to find a red chest and the Urn. This Urn gives you unlimited Rage Of The Titans.

Urn Of Fates: Successfully complete Challenge Of The Titans mode with a «Mortal» or better rank. This Urn extends your allotted combo meter time so you can perform higher combos.

Urn Of Poseidon: Successfully complete Challenge Of The Titans mode with a «Spartan» or better rank. This Urn allows you to exchange Crono’s Rage with Poseidon’s Rage.

Gift of Health: When you get to the area where the second translator jumps off the ledge to avoid reading the book, place the fate statue by the gate at the end of the hall. Go through the mirror that rewinds time, freeze time, then roll back to where the statue was originally. Open the chest that is now there to get the Gift of Health.

Gift of Magic: When you are almost to the area where you have to burn the Phoenix feathers (the part where you are climbing on the rope over the lava and enemies shoot the rope down and you must climb on the wall and then ceiling to get to the next place), as soon as you turn the corner, where you have to jump over the lava and fly, take out the bow instead and shoot the wall below a few times and it will open, revealing the Gift of Magic.

Part way through Rhodes (the first level), you will drop down into a bath house/sauna type area. Instead of continuing and diving down, jump out of the water onto the area around it. There should be two screens which are breakable. Behind one of the screens are two topless women. If you walk up to them and press Circle, a sexual mini-game will begin where you must complete a series of button presses. Once you complete the mini-game, you will get Red and Green Orbs. You only get the Orbs once; however, you can play the mini-game as many times as desired.

Immediately after you defeat Euryale, you will get unlimited magic to use with your new skill. To complete this part of the game, you must kill five enemies by turning them to stone and shattering them. However, if you face the rear wall and position yourself directly in front of the center spawn, you can cast Cronos’ Rage, roll right, cast it again, roll back to the left two times, cast it again, and repeat. You can build up massive combos by doing this to get lots of Orbs. Once you get a 2,000 hit combo, break the combo off (do not cast for about four seconds) and start again. You will get over 1,500 Orbs for each 2,000 hit combo.

To get a lot more Red Orbs easily, upgrade the Blade Of Olympus to level 2. Then, hold L1 + Circle to use the shield the blade emits and suck in Red Orbs from live enemies. Once they have been drained, kill them to get more.

Each time Challenge 1 in Challenge Of The Titans mode is successfully completed, you will get one Cyclops Eye. You can repeat this as many times as needed.

Unlock the Arena Of The Fates, then make three Cyclops and have them respawn and not attack to get twenty Cyclops Eyes quickly.

When the Bowmen (little penguin-like creatures with axes) call the Cyclops with their horn, just kill the Cyclops and not the Bowmen. After you rip the Cyclops’ Eye out, the Bowmen will call another Cyclops. You can keep doing this until you get all twenty Cyclops Eyes.

Using the Golden Fleece

Once you get the Golden Fleece from the Cursed Cerberus, you can use it to block and reflect enemy attacks by pressing L1 at the precise moment. However, if you continually press L1 as fast as possible, you will usually block and return most attacks.

Protecting the Translator

This trick is especially useful on the God or Titan difficulty setting. During the part where you must protect the Translator from the three waves of enemies, there is a way you can do it a little easier. For the first two wave of enemies (the waves before the part when Kratos drops the Translator and kneels beside the book), you can hide behind the cage and hit the enemies, taking minor or no damage. Once you grab him and walk out the cage for the first time, there will be an intermission sequence that releases the first set of enemies. Go back in the cage and pull the boulder off the switch. Then, use the Hammer’s L1 attack in the air or L1 + Triangle to hit enemies with the Hammer’s attack wave. Once the first set of enemies is over, walk towards the middle to activate the second set. Take your time. Once you see the enemies appear, run back behind the cage and pull the stone off again. Repeat the same process and you should be able to avoid getting hit.

Use the following trick during the second part of the battle with Theasus. When he is on the roof and summons creatures to attack you, lead them around until he summons up ice pillars. Then, roll to avoid them but make sure the beasts get caught underneath when the ice pillars are summoned. By doing this, they will get hurt and eventually killed.
